| Birth Story Night Thursday March 15th, 7-9:30pm @ Trillium Collective 300 N. Huron Ypsilanti MI 48197 Come for an evening of sharing birth stories. For those of us who are mothers, we all have our own individual story to tell. This is an evening for ALL mothers to have the opportunity to share their journey or to just come and listen. The evening is open to birthing moms, adoptive moms, mothers who experienced c-sections, got epidurals, birthed in the hospital, birthed at home and anything else. This is an evening to come together. We all got here in our own way. This will not be a place of judgment, criticism, fixing, competition, or comparing. This will be a safe space to share and be heard. Time Frame: We will conduct this evening in an orderly fashion, so please be on time or early to mingle. We will start promptly at 7pm and share stories until 9pm. After the sharing portion of the evening, there will be some time to chat and socialize. Guidelines: Depending on how many want to share we will allot how much time each woman will have to share. There will be no name calling, care provider or hospital identification, or slander of any sort allowed. At the end of each woman's turn at sharing, the group will thank her for her story, and we will move on to the next person. Bring yourselves. Bring a friend. In arms babies only please. |
